Set the kelpie on your books.
KelpieLedger is hands-off accounting for a small Australian business — built so an AI agent can do the bookkeeping boilerplate, through the exact same validated ledger a human uses. No spreadsheets. No float-rounded GST. Just a mustered, balanced set of books.
One domain service, two thin clients.
The web app and the MCP server both sit over the same validated ledger. There is no agent-only backdoor and no logic that lives only in the UI — an agent posting a journal and a human posting one hit identical invariants, idempotency, and audit trail.
- MCP-first
- Connect Claude or any MCP-compatible agent with your own account. It lists accounts, posts journal entries, categorises transactions, and prepares your BAS through the same validated operations you use by hand.
- Real double-entry
- Every entry balances, debits equal credits, and the ledger is append-only. Corrections are reversing entries, so there is always a complete, honest audit trail — not a mutated history.
- Australian GST & BAS
- GST is recorded per line, not re-derived — a document’s stated GST is preserved faithfully. The BAS worksheet computes G1–G14, 1A and 1B straight from posted entries.
- Bank import & reconciliation
- Paste or upload a bank CSV, then categorise each line into a balanced entry — by hand or by asking your agent to do it for you.
It rounds up the boring bits.
Sign up, connect your agent, and let it muster the mob — or drive it yourself from the web app. Either way, you get the same balanced books.
